In most years, an artificial insemination program is undertaken with the best rams we can find in the industry to move us forward. This policy has delivered some significant gains to both our stud flock and our commercial flock in recent years.
The merino stud is the foundation of the half-bred and quarter-bred rams that we also produce.
In recent years the stud has had a significant focus on improving performance through the careful use of outside sires based on their EBVs and physical attributes.
Check out our Benmore Sires page for information about our Sires.
